Abstract

Richard M. Dearborn, 50, and wife Sharon Dearborn, 51, both of South Portland, yesterday picketed in front of the Cumberland County courthouse in Portland to protest continued efforts by Assistant District Attorney Megan Elam to prosecute him for domestic violence. Dearborn is charged with assaulting his wife in February, but his trial ended in a hung jury after Sharon Dearborn changed her story and said her husband never hit her. Elam points to four previous domestic assault charges against Dearborn as evidence of his violent history. Details.
