Abstract
A site-selection committee representing education, labor and business has voted unanimously to recommend sites in Kennebunk, Sanford and Wells as potential locations for the new York County Technical Ccollege, which is scheduled to open in September 1995. The technical college system will survey more than 4,200 companies in the region to learn their employment needs, and the new school will develop a curriculum that is compatible with those needs. The college, with a first-year budget of $1.2 million, is expected to enroll from 600 to 1,000 students. Details.
