Abstract

A silver-inlaid musket once owned by Chief Little Crow of the Mdewakanton band of the Santee Dakota has been returned to Minnesota by Patricia Alcott, the daughter of the late Warren Alcott of Bangor. Chief Little Crow in 1858 traded the musket to Eva C. McEwen, from who Alcott was descended. Details.
