Abstract

Proposals for a $9.8 million middle school in Scarborough include motion-sensitive lighting, light-activated urinals, a greenhouse and a geothermal heat exchange system. The state has agreed to fund all but two classrooms, which will cost the town $175,000. Construction bids will be accepted in November, and the school should be occupied by September 1996. Details.
