Abstract

Diversified Communications of Portland, which owns television stations in Bangor, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Florida, and cable systems in Sanford and New Hampshire, has promoted David H. Lowell, 51, to the position of president and chief executive. Horace A. Hildreth Jr., 62, former president and chief executive officer, will continue to serve as company chairman. Diversified Communications is owned almost entirely by Hildreth and his sister, Josephine H. Detmer of Cumberland. Details.
