Abstract

The Damariscotta River Association, a land-trust organization, owns or helps protect around 1,500 acres of land along the Damariscotta River and in the region. The group recently launched a $2.4 million capital campaign to raise money for a number of initiatives, including the purchase of 90 acres of farmland on Great Salt Bay. Details.
