Abstract

Justice Robert E. Crowley yesterday sentenced Raymond Hatch of Brunswick to 364 days in jail for assaulting a woman with a steak knife, the maximum jail term for simple assault. Hatch, with time served, could be out of jail by November. Hatch in 1981 pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for the 1978 of a Colorado college student, and after serving twelve years in a Colorado prison returned to Brunswick last year.
