Abstract

Louisiana-Pacific Corp. yesterday announced that it has abandoned a plan to expand its New Limerick waferboard plant because of the controversy surrounding the proposal to allow it to use pollution credits generated through the state's new automobile emissions testing program. The New Limerick facility employs 110 workers, and the expansion would have created an additional 70 jobs. Details.
