Abstract

Patrick McDonough, 2, of Wells, in Boston Children's Hospital after undergoing a bone-marrow transplant, has begun eating solid food after receiving nutrients intravenously for several months. Patrick's acute myelofibrosis, a rare form of leukemia, suppresses the immune system has been suppressed, causing him to have difficulaty tolerating the food.
