Abstract
The board of the Finance Authority of Maine yesterday proposed a rule that would limit FAME's role in the Central Maine Power Co. The proposed rule, which has been issued for public comment, would limit FAME's role to judging the financial soundness of CMP's application for a $78 million low-interest loan to finance the buyout.
