Abstract

Mark Gessner, 30, of Nobleboro, on May 5 went to the home of Darrell Ricker of Woolwich and confessed to the killing of Melvin Henderson, a 74-year-old Bath florist. Ricker and Gessner were childhood friends, and after Gessner confessed his crime Ricker went to the police. Gessner is currently being held in Kennebec County Jail pending a bail hearing. Details.
