Abstract

The U.S. District Court in Portland yesterday officially opened for a two-year stay at One Center City, during which time the historic federal courthouse on Federal Street will undergo a $10 million renovation. The federal judges, clerks and the U.S. Marshall's Office now occupy around 20,000 square feet of space on the first and second floors of the building. Housing the courts is part of long-term effort by Dirigo Management Co. to transform the 202,700-square-foot One City Center from retail to office space. Details.
