Abstract

David N. LeGage, 60, a retired Portland school administrator, has been appointed interim superintendent in Scarborough, where he will replace Shirley Grover who will step down next month to become co-administrator of the American School of Milan, Italy. LeGage plans to hold the job for one year, while the school board searches for a permanent successor to Grover. He has not interest in the permanent position.
