Abstract

The Portland City Council yesterday selected two options for each of the proposed two new turnpike exchanges in the city, giving the Maine Turnpike Authority some flexibility in making the final decisions on siting the interchanges. The new exits will probably open within three years at a cost of between $10 million and $20 million, with priority given to the Congress Street interchange. Details.
