Abstract

Craig Taylor, 54, coach of the Waterville Dolphins swim team, today will immerse himself in Indian Pond, near Moosehead Lake, for the first leg of a 14-day, 130-mile swim down the Kennebec River to Bath. Taylor hopes to raise $30,000 for improvements on the swimming pools used by the Waterville Boys/Girls Club. Two kayakers will accompany Taylor on his trip, and three radio stations will monitor his progress. Details.
