Abstract

Columnist George Will writes that despite Democratic protestations to the contrary, U.S. senator George J. Mitchell's health-care bill is a worthy target for a fillibuster. In Will's view, the bill "would produce a more sweeping expansion of government than has been produced by any permanent measure in American history."
