Abstract

ImmuCell Corp. went public in 1987, and raised $5.5 million from investors for the creation and marketing of biotechnology products. The company currently makes $1 million annually from sales of First Defense, a veterinary product that prevents newborn cows from a lethal parasitic illness called scours.
