Abstract

As Maine State Police tighten up on the enforcement on trucking laws yesterday, many truckers say they will drive around the state police checkpoints. They contend that they cannot make a living from trucking if they obey the federal law requiring that drivers get 8 hours rest for every 10 hours on the road. Details.
