Abstract

Amanda Moore, 14, of Dresden, died yesterday in Boston Children's Hospital, less than three days after her second liver transplant. Amanda, whose liver problems were a result of being born without intestines, received a section of her father's liver in June, but after beginning to bleed internally early last week had to have that liver removed. Details.
