Abstract

Danny O'Brien, the companion of Patricia Goguen of Belfast, yesterday said that police officers stood by as Goguen was dying from stab wounds because they didn't have the latex gloves required for dealing with blood. Goguen's 17-year-old son allegedly stabbed her on Saturday night after she ordered him out of the home. Goguen died from her wounds at a local hospital.
