Abstract

Many of the most promising careers in Maine are in medicine, with the Maine State Planning Office projecting that the state will need an additional 15,110 medical services employees by 2005. Other fields projected to grow significantly include retail trade, construction, the lodging and restaurant industries, professional services and business services. A total of 22 fields are expected to add 1,000 or more workers by 2005. Details.
