Abstract

Engineering Design of Maine Inc. is seeking approval from Gorham and the state for a low-interest $100,000 loan so it can bid for a Gorham Industrial Park building now used by Superior Design and Fabrication. Engineering Designs, formed by four executives of Southworth Systems of Westbrook, makes machinery that handles roll and sheet paper at mills, newspaper publishers and similar plants.
