Abstract
The special legislative committee investigating CarTest, the state's new automobile emissions testing program, during the past two weeks held nearly 30 hours of hearings and heard testimony from more than 300 people in seven counties. The 13 lawmakers must now consider the testimony and make a recommendation to the full Legislature, which can either do nothing or convene a special session. Details.
