Abstract

Leslie B. Otten, owner of the Sunday River ski area, yesterday announced that he plans to purchase the Sugarbush Resort in Vermont from Claneil Enterprises Inc. Otten's company, LBO Holdings Inc., in July purchased the Attitash Ski and Summer Resort in Bartlett, N.H. Sugarbush, which includes Sugarbush North in Fayston, Vermont, and Sugarbush South in Warren, Vermont, will be purchased through a holding company that is separate from Sunday River. Once the deal is complete, Otten's three holdings combined will account for around 1.2 million skier visits annually. Details.
