Abstract

Old Orchard Beach Town Manager James Bennett denies that he is orchestrating an effort to convice town voters that they ought to form their own municipal electric district. Bennett said that some townspeople expressed interest in circulating a petition to force a referendum on the issue this fall and that Tad Redway, the town planner, simply helped them draft the document.
