Abstract

The 13th annual United Bikers of Maine Toy Run will be held in Augusta on Sunday. From 10,000 to 15,000 motorcycles will travel from the Augusta Civic Center to the State House, where Salvation Army trucks will be available to pick up toys brought by the bikers for the Salvation Army Christmas program. The Toy Run is the biggest single charitable event in Maine. Last year, between $150,000 to $200,000 worth of toys were collected.
