Abstract

Because a plea bargain involving Kelly Galligan, a former Lisbon Falls teacher accused of having sex with three male students, has fallen through, Galligan's lawyer is expected to proceed with a hearing in Androscoggin Superior Court to suppress statements she made to police in December. Galligan's lawyer will argue that police did not give her proper Maranda warnings. The parents of the students involved want Galligan to be subject to the same punishment a man would receive for having sex with girls. Brief details.
