Abstract

Because of customer complaints, Hannaford Bros. has banned all solicitations at its stores. The policy went into effect on April 4, but those who received prior permission to solicit will be allowed to to do so. Shaw's Supermarkets, Hannaford Bros'. chief competitor in Maine, does not plan to implement such a policy.
