Abstract

Scarborough is becoming a suburban banking center. Four financial insitutions have moved or in the process of moving into the community, and three other banks having expanded or in the process of building new branches. Most of the activity is occurring in the Oak Hill section, at the intersection of Routes 1 and 114, and is in response to the growing base of small businesses and yuppies. Details.
