Abstract

Andrew Shuttleworth, 9, a fourth-grader at Riverton Elementary School, is taking Latin I and Earth Sciences at Portland High School. The boy's father, William C. Shuttleworth, a psychologist and principal of PREP, the city's alternative high school, says he doesn't know Andrew's IQ, but admits he has a great capacity for concentration. Andrew began talking at four months, and took up the piano at age four. Details.
