Abstract

Chris Trout, a drug and alcohol counselor with Day One, yesterday told around 200 people at a forum in Cape Elizabeth that 25 percent of the seniors in the town's high school will graduate addicted to or in danger of becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol. The forum was sponsored by the Cape Elizabeth Community Coalition, a private citizens group, and was held in response to a school department survey that showed that 64 percent of seniors had been drunk or tried marijuana within the last year.
