Abstract

Christmas Seal, the injured seal rescued by Sue Polans last Christmas Eve in Biddeford, returned to Maine yesterday after a three-month recuperation at the New England Aquarium in Boston. The young seal was dehydrated, infested with parasites and wounded when found last year. It gained 32 pounds while at the aquarium. Details.
