Abstract

Brief article reporting that the Maine Attorney General's Office has filed a civil rights lawsuit against John Hennessey, a Portland cabdriver, for allegedly making anti-Semitic threats against Idor Fridman. Fridman, also a cabdriver, in 1989 immigrated to Portland from the former Soviet Union. The lawsuit says that Hennessey on August 7 at the Portland Internation Jetport cursed Fridman and told him to go back to Russia or to Israel.
