Abstract

The U.S. Agency for International Development has awarded Central Maine Power Co. (CMP) two-year contracts for work in Bulgaria and the Czech Republic, the company's first contracts for overseas work. CMP will receive $963,000 for work with NEK, the national Electric Company of Bulgaria, and $357,000 for work with PRE Prague Power Co. CMP is also seeking contract projects in Ukraine and Egypt.
