Abstract

"Newsreal" piece on the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad, which has yet to lay any track along the base of Portland's Eastern Promenade because the Maine Department of Transportation is requiring that it assume liability for any accidents that may occur on the leased state property. Negotiations between the two parties are ongoing. Planning for the bike and walking paths that will run adjacent to the railroad is nearing completion. Details.
