Abstract

Amy Viles, 9, of Salem, and Maggie Trafton, 8, of Carrabassett Valley, died yesterday when the van in which they were riding hit a tractor-trailer that had jackknifed on Route 27 in New Vineyard. The van was one of three taking Kingfield Elementary School students to the Common Ground Fair in Windsor. Details.
