Abstract

The October issue of Consumer Reports magazine lists L.L. Bean and Patagonia as the two clothing catalog companies with the highest overall satisfaction among customers. The ranking is based on a national survey of 88,000 Consumer Reports readers who purchased items from catalogs during the past year. Bean has appeared atop the magazine's previous rankings in 1984, 1987 and 1991. Details.
