Abstract

Harry Cowles of California was the original owner of Resorts Development Corp., and in the 1960s sold and gave away lots that were part of the 150-acre Homewood Park development in Old Orchard Beach. The development was never actually finished, but more than 80 homes have been built, most in the past decade. People who own lots on the partially finished roads in the development want the town to pave one road and finish parts of other roads, an issue that the town council will consider on Tuesday.
