Abstract

Michael Blanchard, 33, charged with sexually molesting a patient at the Maine Medical Center, on Saturday escaped police custody by convincing police he was his older brother Maurice. Michael Blanchard was first sent to the Maine Youth Center at age nine, and has spent time at the Maine State Prison in Thomaston. Maurice Blanchard has no criminal record, and based on that record Michael Blanchard was released on bail on Saturday. Details.
