Abstract

Merrill Clarrage Sr., 54, of Wells, is in custody after he shot at and threatened to kill his 29-year-old stepson, Merrill Clarrage of Wells, Sunday night. The older Clarrage fired a 16-gauge shotgun at the younger Clarrage's pickup truck, and was charged with attempted murder after police negotiators wrestled him to the ground around 1:30 A.M. Monday.
