Abstract

Dana Cyr, 55, of Connor Township, doing business as Peterson's Septic Service, was found guilty in Aroostook County Superior Court on two counts of criminal violation of environmental law. Cyr in 1991 was subject to a state Department of Environmental Protection administrative consent decree, and was later observed twice dumping septic waste illegally. Cyr was sentenced to six months in jail with all but 20 days suspended, and was ordered to perform 100 hours of community service and pay an $800 fine. Details.
