Abstract

Erik Carson, a consultant, recently finished a survey 1,129 of Scarborough's oldest buildings and describes them in the "Scarborough Historic Preservation Survey." The survey was commissioned by Greater Portland Landmarks Inc., and was funded with a $7,955 grant from the National Park Service. Identical surveys were commissioned in Cape Elizabeth and Falmouth, and one will be done in Westbrook as soon as a surveyor can be hired. Details, list of 12 structures with historic value.
