Abstract

Bath Iron Works is working out the final details of a multi-million dollar contract with the Egyptian Navy, and within two weeks is will send a production and marketing team to Egypt to finalize the work. Egypt is the fifth country that has hired BIW to help train its workers and improve its shipbuilding and repair operations. BIW's five years of work in Taiwan led to the contract with Egypt.
