Abstract

The Maine chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws has renamed itself the Joshua L. Chamberlain Chapter of NORML. Sheryl Thompson, president of the new chapter, said Chamberlain wasn't opposed to efforts to keep alcohol legal, but another observer said the hero of Gettysburg disdained the use of drugs.
