Abstract

Around 60 Kennebunkport residents yesterday attended an informational meeting at the Consolidated School to discuss a proposed annexation of the Biddeford neighborhoods of Granite Point and Fortune Rocks, known as the Little River Boundary Group. Kennebunkport voters on November 8 will participate in a straw vote on the issue, and if the poll shows residents favor annexation the Little River Boundary Group will seek the approval of the state Legislature to put the issue to a binding referndum next year.
