Abstract

Biddeford police yesterday charged Elwin Martin, 62, of Portland, an independent candidate for Cumberland County sheriff, with two felony charges of sexual exploitation of minors, alleging that he videotaped two teen-aged girls as they performed a striptease. Martin was charged earlier this week with operating a prostitution ring from his Biddeford Art Gallery, and has been indicted in both York and Cumberland counties as an habitual motor vehicle offender.
