Abstract

New commercial fishing regulations proposed by the New England Fishery Management Council could benefit Maine fishermen. The laws, being proposed to restore dwindling stocks of groundfish, would exempt boats 45 feet and shorter, which would affect an estimated half of Maine's fleet. Details.
