Abstract

The Portland Bridge, scheduled to be demolished after the $165 million replacement is completed, might be used as fill to dramatically expand Harbor View Memorial Park. The 35,000 cubic yards of debris would be dumped and graded between York and Commercial streets, and would expand the park from its current one acre to five acres. Details.
