Abstract

A $100,000 grant from the Maine Coastal Program of the Maine State Planning Office will fund the Damariscotta River Estuary Project, designed to inventory the river's resources and examine who uses them and how that use affects the river's health. A steering committee of representatives from the seven towns which border the 7,627-acre estuary will direct the project. Details.
