Abstract

Dana Connors, the commissioner of the Maine Department of Transportation, yesterday received a $60,000 federal check to help plan a "multimodal" transportation hub that would serve as a new railroad station, while also serving local commuter buses, taxis, and regional buses. About 45 cities nationwide are now planning multimodal transportation terminals.
